About

Traces, never targets.

Traces is a LaCobble app born from one wish: to learn the real reflexes of online investigation (metadata, cross-checking, timelines) without ever touching anyone's life. So everything was made up, down to Vauclair, its coordinates in the open sea and Inès Ferrand, the journalist who hands you the files. Twelve short cases, one corkboard, one file to seal, and one snapshot a day. No account, no ads, no analytics.

• An entirely fictional world: people, .fict websites, numbers, places
• No search on real people, no link to the real Internet
• Free, offline, no account
